In addition to yoga, Self Discovery Week for Girls will feature programs on nutrition, image, fashion, hairstyles, art, organizational skills and more. Acton life and career coach Clare Harlow, MSW, will lead a discussion on parent-teen communication. Moms and other female relatives are cordially invited to attend an empowering closing ceremony at noon on Friday. Cost of $275 includes healthy snacks, hands-on demonstrations, literature, free samples and more. For an additional fee, girls may participate in a 90-minute NIA dance experience and a jewelry-making session on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.
